Mon lapinou, sinusiteux chronique, après un vieux rhume (que je lui ai refilé bien sûr!!c'est ça l'Amour, on partage tout!!) a évidement déclaré une sinusite!
Parlons un peu médical...
Qu'est-ce qu'une sinusite? C'est une inflammation des muqueuses qui tapissent les sinus de la face. Cela fait horriblement mal au crâne, sur les pommettes, au dessus des yeux.. Un peu d'anatomie pour expliquer cela :
Voici une représentation des sinus! Ce sont des cavités pneumatiques creusées dans les os de la face et du crâne! Pour les sinusites, ceux de l'os frontal (front) et des os maxillaires supérieures (pommettes, nez) sont principalement congestionnés.
Voici un cliché du TDM de Jimmy (passé en 2004 pour sinusites chroniques).
On voit nettement que son sinus gauche est épaissit et bouché: les zones aériennes sont plus sombres (os=blanc; eau, air=noir)
Conclusion : Comblement quasi complet du sinus maxillaire gauche associé à une sinusite fronto-ethmoïdale homo-latérale et épaississement polypoïde du sinus maxillaire droit avec comblement ostial.

Pour ma part, ostéopathe en herbe, je me suis rappelée, que comme par hasard, les sinus se rejoignent à la connection entre l'os frontal, l'os ethmoïde....nianiania...voir les cours d'anatomie du crâne!(PS: merci de reconnaître la mobilité des os du crâne!!)
En tous cas, je me suis essayée à une technique qui consiste délicatement par pressions successives à emmener l'os frontal vers le haut et l'os maxillaire vers le bas (en gros). Je peux vous en dire plus, mais je me suis seulement laissé guider par mes sensations.... Et le plus fort c'est que ça marche! La technique a duré 20 min, "douloureuse" au début, elle s'est très vite avérée relaxante et douce.

Après cette séance découverte, toutes ses voies respiratoires supérieures se sont dégagées ( instantanément!) et ses sinus se sont décongestionnés...plus de douleur!Sincèrement, le bien être s'est fait ressentir immédiatement.
Voilà 4 jours et monsieur se sent très bien....
Comme quoi, ça marche l'ostéopathie!
Conseil: ne pas avoir peur de tester des choses dans la vie...et faire ses propres expériences!
